FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

1.  Do you have to dress up to attend your worship service?

No!  Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at New Life. You’re most likely to see someone in slacks and a casual shirt, jeans or, even, shorts in the summer. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up, ready to worship God.

2.  Can a visitor take communion?

Yes! We share communion each month on the first Sunday as a tangible reminder of God’s gift to us in Jesus Christ. We believe in open communion – that means that anyone who has been “born again” in Jesus Christ is welcome to take communion, whether they are a church member or not.

3. How do I submit my tithes and offerings if I am unable to attend church?

Mail a Check - The preferred method is by check sent via mail or via your online bank account. This prevents the necessity of paying PayPal fees (see online giving below for an explanation of the fees).

Please make checks out to New Life Christian Church and mail them to:
P.O. Box 494
Milton, VT 05468

Give OnlineYou can give securely online going to the Give tab and clicking on the Donate button following the prompts there.  Be sure to include your address in your giving profile so we can generate your giving statement at the end of the year.  Please note that PayPal takes fees from the amount you give (2.9% + .30 per transaction) so the amount New Life actually receives will be less than the amount you give. The amount that New Life actually receives (the donation minus the transaction fees) will be the amount your end-of-the-year giving statement will reflect.

Drop it off at the church - Pastor Kevin or his assistant will usually be at the church Mon.-Thurs. during normal business hours, but it may be best to call ahead.

4.  How do I listen to the live stream Sunday morning service?

There are two options available:

(a) Access your Facebook account and search for New Life Christian Church Milton.  You should be able to see it either on Home page or Posts page.

(b) If you do not have a Facebook account, go to the Sermons tab on this site and click on NLCC Live.

5. Are there other online opportunities for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship besides Sunday morning?

Yes, there are discipleship classes and Life Groups (small groups meeting for Bible study, prayer and fellowship). Some groups meet in homes and others meet here at New Life either in the Cafe or in  the Sanctuary. For more information, contact the church via the Information Request located at the Visit Us tab.

6. Who can I contact with questions about Sunday’s service?

Please contact the church via the Information Request form located at the Visit Us tab.
